The baby died
Baby William , who was christened in July 1842 in Ramsbury, died on board the ship on the way to New Zealand.

Another baby named William
Charles and Sarah setted at Waimea West near Nelson, and when Sarah gave birth to another son in September 1845, they named him William too. He turned out to be my great-grandfather.
Their other children were Sarah Ann, born April 5, 1848, Lucy, born June 21, 1850, Charles, born February 7, 1852, and Elizabeth, born January 11, 1856.
